1. The Service

Catholic Homily Builder is a tool that helps priests, deacons, and ministry leaders prepare homilies and reflections rooted in the Mass readings. It is a thought partner, not a ghostwriter — it produces draft material to support your preparation, not a finished homily.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Resell, redistribute, or misrepresent the Service or its output as another's work.
Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.

4. Homilies are drafts, not doctrine

Every homily, reflection, or other output the Service produces is a draftthat requires the preacher's own prayerful and theological review before use. The Service is a thought partner, not a ghostwriter, and is not a substitute for the Magisterium or the teaching authority of the Church. You are solely responsible for the content of any homily you preach and for confirming its fidelity to Catholic teaching.

5. Intellectual property

As between you and us, you own the inputs you submit and the outputs generated for you, and you may use them freely in your ministry. We own the Service itself — the software, design, and underlying technology — and nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are offered on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Any refund policy will be described at the point of purchase or on request.
Payments are processed by Stripe; prices and features may change with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or doctrinally complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service or its output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
